Belinda Eckermann has been actively working as an artist since 2009 and has been inspiring students in the arts as a Primary and Secondary teacher since 2004.  Her work examines processes of simplification, modification and transformation in which she addresses issues of human intervention in nature, at times using nature itself as a modality of drawing.  She is also concerned with the immersion and participation of her audience to achieve a more personal experience.
